Here are the nurses who will greet you when you come to Orange & Molong Veterinary Clinics.
Tamara Morley-Clarke
Director of Nursing
Tamara was born in Sydney, but chose the country lifestyle and has settled in Molong. Tamara's husband is a mechanic and in their spare time with the help of their two children they farm cattle, sheep and alpacas.
Tamara has been nursing for seven years and is our Director of Nursing. Tamara works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday at the practice.
Tamara is committed to keeping her Nursing skills and knowledge up to date and has completed a workshop in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and has recently gained accreditation for microchipping.
Emma Spicer
Large Animal Nurse
Emma joined the staff at Orange Veterinary Hospital in 2006. Her interest in animals, particularly horses, motivated her to seek a career in Veterinary Nursing. Prior to commencing her current position Emma worked on several horse properties including a local riding school, a local horse stud and racing stables in Sydney during holidays where she gained valuable ‘hands on’ knowledge and skills in handling horses.
As our Large Animal nurse Emma is often out in the field assisting the vets. A Certificate IV vet nurse Emma has furthered her vet nursing skills and has attended an Equine Nursing seminar/workshop in Sydney. Emma has also completed her Diploma in Equine Nursing.
Always an Orange girl, Emma lives on a small acreage on the outskirts of Orange with her husband. In her spare time she can often be found riding her horse, bike riding, playing with dogs Quiggley and Matilda and cat Popeye. Emma also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Natasha Stephens
Vet Nurse
Natasha is Certificate IV qualified in veterinary nursing. Natasha is originally a farm girl from West Wyalong but came to Orange to train as a Veterinary Nurse, fell in love and decided to stay.
Natasha and her husband have purchased their first home and have started the renovation process. Natasha has two dogs “Jessie” and “Jack”, two cats “Benjamin” and “William” and cares for our cat adoption kittens until they find new homes. In her spare time loves horse riding.
Natasha fits right in with all the other horse lovers in the practice. Natasha is currently on maternity leave.
Peta Manchester
Veterinary Nurse
Peta joined OVH in September 2008 and she has completed her traineeship in CertIV Vet Nursing. Peta has developed an interest in surgical nursing and has become an intergral part of the OVH team.
Peta completed her traineeship while working permanent part time and raising two children. During her spare time she enjoys playing hockey in Orange, getting back to nature, taking her two dogs Bonnie and Boof on bush and trail walks.
Lucy Danson
Veterinary Nurse
Lucy joined the team in January 2010 moving from Forbes. Lucy is a qualified small animal vet nurse and enjoys dental nursing and pathology. Lucy has two dogs and two cats and enjoys relaxing in her spare time.
Sarah Brown
Receptionist
Sarah is a local Cudal girl and a qualified Certificate IV nurse. Sarah has been in Dubbo working in real estate and she is really excited to be back home and working in the industry that she loves.Sarah works in the Molong branch three days per week and in Orange on Thursdays. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her husband and two year old son.
April Byron
April started as a work experience student while completing her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. April is a great addition to our team, she is a conscientious worker and is going to make a great vet nurse when she completes her studies in June.
