Emma
Large Animal Nurse

Emma joined the staff at Orange Veterinary Hospital in 2006. Her interest in animals, particularly horses, motivated her to seek a career in Veterinary Nursing. Prior to commencing her current position Emma worked on several horse properties including a local riding school, a local horse stud and racing stables in Sydney during holidays where she gained valuable ‘hands on’ knowledge and skills in handling horses.

As our Large Animal nurse Emma is often out in the field assisting the vets. A Certificate IV vet nurse Emma is keen to further her vet nursing skills and has in June 2008 attended an Equine Nursing seminar/workshop in Sydney.

Always an Orange girl Emma lives on a small acreage on the outskirts of Orange with her husband. In her spare time she can often be found riding her horse, bike riding, playing with dogs Quiggley and Matilda and cat Popeye. Emma also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
