Andrew Litchfield BSc (Vet) (Hons) BVSc (Hons)Andrew Litchfield BSc (Vet) (Hons) BVSc (Hons),
Andrew is from a sheep and beef cattle property near Cooma.

He graduated with honours from University of Sydney in 1990 gaining a Bachelor of Vet Science and a Bachelor of Science in molecular genetics. In 1991 he started work at the Orange Veterinary Hospital as a new graduate. In 1993/4 he worked in a dairy and equine practice in England before returning to Orange and becoming a partner at Orange Veterinary Hospital.

Andrew has represented the Australian Veterinary Association on many committees and was NSW AVA resident in 1997/1998.

Whilst Andrew enjoys all aspects of mixed practice he has special interests in small animal medicine, orthopaedic surgery and large animal reproduction expecially artificial breeding in horses.

Kim Rolls BVSc,
Kim joined Orange Veterinary Hospital in 1999 and became a partner with Bob and Andrew in 2005. From a rural background in Northern NSW Kim graduated from Sydney University in 1979.

He has worked in mixed practices in Sydney, Narromine and Egham in Surrey, England. Kim has spent a number of years working in the sheep and cattle feedlot industry, cattle stud industry and as a nutritionist for a feedmill. Kim enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking and sampling redwine.

Kim also hosts a great christmas party!

John Mason BVSc,
John has been a practicing veterinarian since 1996. He grew up on a sheep and cattle property near Wellington and after completing his degree at the University of Sydney in 1995, he worked for several years in Orange. To gain wider experience John spent a few more years practicing in the UK and Sydney before returning to Orange Veterinary Hospital.

He has special interests in small animal surgery and medicine and is qualified as an AQIS recognized Veterinarian for all exporting animals. John has also completed further training in acupuncture. When appropriate, this complementary therapy is very effective in combination with Western medicine.

Sunita Neville BVSc
Sunita grew up in Terrey Hills and graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995. After graduating she spent 6 years in the UK working in various mixed and small animal practices in and around Berkshire. On returning to Sydney Sunita worked in small animal practice on the Northern Beaches.

A 2 month stint vaccinating horses during the equine influenza outbreak in Gunnedah at the end of 2007 prompted a renewed enthusiasm for mixed practice and was the catalyst for a move to Orange in early 2008.

Sunita works part time at Orange Veterinary Hospital and spends the remainder of her time juggling 3 small children, reading, gardening and horse riding.

Kate Cox BVSc
Kate grew up in Camden with a love of animals, especially horses. She completed her Veterinary Science degree in 2008 and joined the OVH team in December 2008. Kate enjoys all areas of mixed practice but has a special interest in equine work, particularly reproduction and foal medicine. Kate has recently married and she and her family are enjoying Orange and the community. Top

 


 

 

April Brenan BVSc Hons                                                                                                                                                               April grew up in Melbourne but has spent the last five years in Brisbane completing her degree in Veterinary Science at the University of QLD. She graduated with honours. April worked in a Veterinary Hospital throughout her studies and has a passion to work in a mixed practice. She is keen to further her small animal knowledge and skills in cardiology and ultrasonography. We welcomed April to our team in December 2008.

Outside work hours April enjoys an active life which includes running, tennis, photography and relaxing with family and friends.
